The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the members of senior and junior men's cricket selection committees.

As per the press release issued by the cricket board, Inzamam-ul-Haq will now lead both selection committees. The four-member senior selection committee comprises Tauseef Ahmed, Wajahatullah Wasti and Wasim Haider.

This means team director Mickey Arthur, head coach Grant Bradburn, head coach, and Hassan Cheema are no longer part of the senior committee.

Arthur, Bradburn and Cheema were named in the selection committee by the previous PCB's management committee chairman Najam Sethi.

Remember, former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq was appointed the Chairman of the senior selection committee before the Afghanistan ODIs and Asia Cup 2023. He replaced Haroon Rasheed.

Inzamam selected squads with the previous committee for the above-mentioned assignments as well as the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 and Pakistan Shaheens' squad for the 19th Asian Games.

Currently, Inzamam is in India to plan with the national team to play in the ongoing World Cup 2023. He met with the side before the Netherlands' game and was seen on the sidelines of the practice session.

Meanwhile, the seven-member junior selection committee includes Aamer Nazir, Javed Hayat, Mahmood Hamid, Naveed Latif, Salman Ahmed and Sanaullah Baloch.

The first assignment for the junior selection committee is to select the Pakistan U19 squad for the forthcoming series against Sri Lanka U19. Sri Lanka U19 are scheduled to arrive in Karachi on 12 October to feature in one four-day and five 50-over matches.
